Who is Diamond.com?
Diamond.com is the culmination of an exciting story that began in 1999 when our
parent company, Odimo, Incorporated (f/k/a Odimo.com, Inc.) acquired a majority
interest in jewelry online retailer DiamondDepot.com. Our business philosophy
was simple: Offer customers incredible values on the largest inventory of
certified diamonds in the world, along with fine jewelry and brandname
watches--all with the privacy, security and convenience of online shopping.
The story continued when, early in 2000, we changed our name to Diamond.com, set
up our toll free 1-888-DIAMOND number, and re-launched our new, enhanced
website--allowing us to better assist online customers in entering the magical
and glamorous world of diamonds. Today, Diamond.com has become a major force in
the online jewelry industry and will soon expand its operations internationally
to include the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
