Valtrex - Take Valtrex by mouth as prescribed. Do not skip doses or
stop taking it without your doctor's approval. Stopping therapy too soon may
result in ineffective treatment.
This medication is an antiviral agent used in the treatment of herpes zoster
(shingles), genital herpes and is also being used for herpes simplex (cold
sores).
Acyclovir is an antiviral used to treat shingles, chickenpox, or
genital herpes. It may also be used to treat other conditions.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and over-the-counter
medicine that you are taking, along with any other medical conditions such as
allergies, or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
